As with each new Tillage design, we go through painstaking efforts to get it ready to sell. We want you to fall in love with them, instantly recognize not only the softness but quality.
Creating these two hoodie styles was no different. But we did try a couple of new things. First of all, we tried a new fabric--French Terry Modal, which we ended up using on the "Big Wave" hoodie, featured on the two tall models. This fabric feels luxuriously soft and absorbs moisture better than cotton to create a breathable, sweat-wicking result. The small amount of spandex blend makes these hoodies ideal for stretch and recovery, drape whimsically with your body's every move, offers a lightweight warmth. An added bonus is that this fabric is colorfast and resists shrinking and pilling.
Our "Hip Hoodie" is made from the same material our customers love in our elevated joggers--a high-grade poly/spandex blend. With many similar features as the Big Wave Hoodie, we chose a slightly heavier weight than the joggers, so they'll lie nicely with the A-lined front-to-back style.
Perhaps what's even more exciting is our new manufacturing partner in Hawking Hills, Ohio. They love working with ethical brands, and are helping revive their local economy by hiring and training highly detail-oriented sewers. Plus, they are so kind to work with. We love being able to support this small-town Ohio business, and we can't wait for you to get your hands on these tops.
