What Do Super Bowl VI and Human Trafficking Have In Common?

February 06, 2017 Abby Farr

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, friends! Is this event not virtually a national holiday at this point?! Friends and families seize to the opportunity of the biggest money making sports event, from epic to commercials and half time show, not to mention the big football game itself, to gather together, eat loads of chips and dip, and just chill and be together. Everyone can put other differences aside to cheer on their favorite team and potentially have some fun rivalries.

However, I think very few people are aware that this exact event is the feeding ground for human traffickers. I know it's a weighty, intense subject, when it's suppose to be all about fun, but I wouldn't be utilizing the Tillage Clothing Company platform accurately, if I didn't bring the severity of the issue to light on this important day. Thankfully, now that the issue is being brought more into the light, the FBI is much more on the case.

So, please do have the best time being with those you love. But will you also please take a moment to learn a little more about what's going on in your back yard and see if there's anything you can do to make a dent?

One of the easiest ways is to using your purchasing power toward the cause, which you can do anytime at tillageclothing.com
