Happy MLK Day!
I recently watched this amazing video for kids, and it turned out to be a great refresher for Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and impact, and why he gets his own holiday.
The way he led a peaceful but very proactive and strategic movement for freedom and equality to end segregation and provide equal rights raised the bar for creating a wave through non-violence.
We still have a ways to go, but remembering his story is a great reminder of how we can approach the fight for equality on all levels in a peaceful, persistent manner.
Cincinnati now boasts a beautiful memorial honoring his legacy. I'm so proud of my hometown.
